The workshop "Archived ruptures – ruptured archives. Collaboration, intervention, resistance" is organized by Cathrine Bublatzky and hosted by the Käte Hamburger Research Centre global dis:connect in Munich. To explore the role of ruptures in archives, the workshop highlights processes of radical change and dis:continuity in archives and private collections.
In the second panel of the workshop, chaired by Mirjam Lücking, Philipp Schorch will speak about his work on „Archival (un/re)doing" and Magnus Treiber will give a talk "On gold and shattered dreams: The German Study Syndicate for Abyssinia and its failed attempt to ‘develop’ Ethiopia (1925-1938)“.
