Digital Unsettling Book Launch:

Prof Dr Sahana Udupa’s new book, Digital Unsettling: Decoloniality and Dispossession in the Age of Social Media (New York University Press) co-authored with Prof Dr Ethiraj Gabriel Dattatreyan was launched at a public event in Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Prof Dr Herman Wasserman, Chair of Journalism and Prof Dr Anthony Leysens, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Stellenbosch University, hosted the event.

In their respondent remarks, Prof Dr Tanja Bosch, President of the South African Communication Association, and Prof Dr Erkan Saka, political blogger and Professor of Journalism Media Studies at the Istambul Belgi University, Turkey, welcomed the book as an important contribution to critical digital studies and digital theory.
