Student assistance for ERC project ‘Indigeneities in the 21. Century’

From 01.10.2019, the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich will host the 5 year ERC-funded project ‘Indigenities in the 21. Century’, which studies entangled indigeneities as transregional and transcultural formations along the transpacific intersections between North and South America,
Australia and the South Pacific. The project is led by Prof. Dr. Philipp Schorch.
I am seeking applications for a student assistant as support for administrative and
organizational tasks with the following profile:
- Candidates are enrolled as students of social and cultural anthropology at advanced BA or MA level
- The capacity of supervised yet self -dependent project assistance is a key requirement
- A very good command of English and very good communication skills are needed
Becoming part of the research team offers a broad range of opportunities to extend your academic and professional skills, and develop your interests and studies alongside and in dialogue with the ERC project. The position is paid based on the respective academic level according to Hilfskrafttarif, and is offered for up to 19 h per week.
