New Zealand

Project leader: Prof. Dr. Eveline Dürr

Funded by the LMUexcellent funding for women and the Auckland University of Technology, Auckland, New Zealand (2007-2009)

Applying a biographical oriented approach to research transnational migration, this project investigates South-South connections, in particular the migration of Latin Americans to New Zealand. The focus lies on the different forms of belonging as a subjective and emotional category of migrants in Auckland (see Dürr 2011).
