Library
The library of the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology is a part of the library "Fachbibliothek Englischer Garten" which is a branch of the University Library of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. The library contains approx. 260.000 volumes, including approx. 660 current journals and magazines. It was formed 1996 after the consolidation of the libraries of the following seven academic institutes:
- Political Science
- Communication Studies
- Social and Cultural Anthropology
- Japan Studies
- Computer sciences
- Computer Linguistics
- Biomolecular Optics
